Aston Martin Club, Autumn Run of Litchfield County

September 22, 2012: This Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC) tour was organised by Andy Williams and Roland Westerdal. Roland was the “Tourmeister”. We had 17 cars at the starting point, only one being a non Aston Martin. The exception was a Ferrari 599. The road trip started in Brookfield at 10 AM, and continued through the towns of Bridgewater, New Milford, Washington and we stopped in Litchfield for a coffee break. After the break the tour continued through Goshen and then we drove through the Cornwall covered bridge. After that we passed through Warren before we reached our lunch destination, Hopkins Inn and Vineyard. After having consumed our delicious lunches in this peaceful and picturesque setting, the remaining cars drove around Lake Waramaug, and then the trip continued on back roadsĀ  back to Brookfield.

Many thanks to Roland and Andy for all their efforts planning a terrific day!
It was a blast to give the olde girl a little exercise, and to meet new friends.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the holiday party, if not sooner.

A beautiful day, scenic route, great roads, a wonderful meal and fantastic people. That made our first AMOC event one of our most enjoyable club functions. The best way to enjoy ones Aston. Zach & Rosa
